301IRF Refrigerant Gas Detector

Install
Honeywell 301IRF sensor at low levels in chiller room for reliable
detection of a variety of refrigerant gasses. Requires installation with
a 301EM-20 controller. Product Overview: Discreet design and rugged
ABS-Polycarbonate housing for the 301IRFS set the standard for “at the
source” gas detection in a chiller room. Mount directly to the chiller
pad or low on the wall in close proximity to achieve early notifications
in the event of a refrigerant leak.
ASHRAE
No 15-2001 Mechanical Standard and B-52 Code Compliance The ASHRAE and
B-52 security standards have been established to minimize risk and
protect the safety of mechanical room personnel and the environment at
large. Honeywell’s 301IRF, together with the 301EM mechanical room
controller, provides a complete solution that meets and even exceeds
these rigorous standards. The 301EM can be configured to offer automatic
fan, horn and strobe activation in addition to manual fan activation
when the 301IRF detects a refrigerant.

Portables IntelliDoX

The
IntelliDoX system combines smart docking modules and device management
software to provide automated instrument management for Honeywell BW™
Solo, Honeywell BW™ Ultra, BW™ MaxXTII, BW™ Clip Series, Honeywell BW™
Clip4 and Honeywell BW™ MicroClip Series gas detectors - helping you
drive productivity, reliability and efficiency.
Product
Overview: With the IntelliDoX instrument management system, simply
place a detector in the docking module, and it automatically performs
certain activities based on your specifications in the Fleet Manager II
or Honeywell Safety Suite software. You can set each module to do a bump
test, reconfigure the detector’s high and low alarm set points, and
more. Also use the software to analyze the data from each gas detector,
run reports, track compliance and even send email reminders to workers.

Commercial Gas Detection Sensepoint XRL

Sensepoint
XRL is a fixed point gas detector with Bluetooth that allows the user
to connect the gas detector to a smartphone or tablet running the
Sensepoint gas detector app. Sensepoint XRL is available as a flammable
gas detector for the detection of potentially explosive gases, or as a
toxic gas detector for the detection of a range of toxic gas hazards
commonly found in industrial applications. Winner of both iF and Red Dot
design awards, Sensepoint XRL is designed with simple and quick
installation in mind. And for initial calibration, all you need is our
Sensepoint App on your smartphone and a cylinder of calibration gas — no
need for walkie-talkie guidance with the control room. Use the
Sensepoint App to create a profile for the detector, choose alarm set
points, run test procedures and automatically generate a commissioning
report, which you can send from your phone to other stakeholders or
store for easy access in a safety inspection. No need for paperwork.

Industrial Fixed: Signalpoint Flammable and Toxic Gas Detector

The
Signalpoint range of flammable, toxic and Oxygen gas detectors offers a
low cost solution to indoor gas monitoring. Product Overview: Supplied
with an integral pre-wired junction box, the detector can be installed
using conduit or cable and glands depending on individual site
standards. Two basic arrangements are provided. Flammable detectors
offer mV bridge output for use with dedicated gas control systems (such
as Unipoint) and are certified under ATEX for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres.
Toxic
and Oxygen detectors are designed for use in non-explosive atmospheres.
They are 2 wire 4-20mA loop powered and can be used with PLC or
dedicated gas control systems. Toxic and Oxygen versions of Signalpoint
also provide a local LED indication of their status: periodic green
flash (OK), flashing amber (warning) and flashing red (alarm). Seconds
count and so the front-end sensor design ensures fast speed of response
even with ‘sticky’ gases.

Industrial Fixed: Sensepoint Flammable and Toxic Gas Detector

ATEX
certified flammable, toxic and oxygen gas detectors that offer a
high-quality, low-cost solution to monitoring hazardous areas. Product
Overview: The Sensepoint range of flammable, toxic and Oxygen gas
detectors offer users a high quality, low cost solution to their
industrial gas monitoring needs. Installation in potentially explosive
atmospheres is made by the use of a suitable Exd or Exe approved
junction box. The industry standard outputs from Sensepoint are
connected to either a choice of Honeywell Analytics’ controllers or 3rd
party DCS / PLC systems. Both flammable and toxic versions are certified
to the latest European ATEX safety and performance standards.
The
flammable detector is available in either % LEL or PPM detection range
versions and provides an industry standard mV bridge output. Typical
life expectancy is greater than 5 years, after which the detector is
simply replaced with a new one. The toxic detectors are supplied pre
calibrated for easy installation and provide an industry standard 2 wire
4-20mA loop output. User connections are Exd, while front end Intrinsic
Safety (IS) design allows for easy exchange of the replaceable sensor
while powered. IS design also removes the need for a sinter enabling
very fast speed of response and detection of ‘sticky’ gases such as
Chlorine and Ammonia. Sensepoint has proven its suitability across a
wide range of demanding applications by delivering high performance and
reliability at an affordable cost.

Guide to Cleaning and Disinfecting Gas Detectors

Toxic
and combustible gas detectors use electrochemical and catalytic bead
sensors which are designed to be highly sensitive to specific hazardous
gases. The performance of these sensors can be affected by the presence
of other chemical compounds, such as those found in some cleaning and
antiseptic products. Using such products to clean or disinfect gas
detectors may cause temporary or permanent changes in the sensitivity of
a sensor.
Customers
should avoid sanitizing detectors with cleaning agents which include
the following active ingredients: Alcohol, including products such as
Purell® and Lysol® or Lysol wipes Sodium hypochlorite (bleach),
including products such as Clorox® or Clorox wipes D-limonene,
including products such as Dawn® or Sunlight® dishwashing liquid
Silicone, including products such as Armor-All® or Armor-All wipes
Customers using products with these ingredients at their site should
ensure that additional care is taken when handling gas detectors and
their sensors. If possible, antiseptic products should be removed from
all areas where gas detectors are used and stored.
